Snoop Lion To Make First-Ever 'RapFix Live' Appearance With Big K.R.I.T.

Snoop will talk with MTV News' Sway Calloway about his decades-long career on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET on MTV Jams and RapFix.MTV.com.

It's been almost 20 years since Snoop Lion (as Snoop Dogg) released his 1993 debut groundbreaking Doggystyle and ever since the Long Beach, California, MC has been constantly reinventing himself.

Now, with an unparalleled career in his bag and a new reggae album on the way, the S-N-Double-O-P will sit down with MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway for a career-spanning interview on "RapFix Live" on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET on MTV Jams and RapFix.MTV.com.

Snoop's latest single [article id="1705249"]"No Guns Allowed,"[/article] from his upcoming Reincarnated LP, finds him, Drake and his daughter Cori B. addressing gun violence. To support the single and the very positive message, Snoop has teamed with MTV and Jewelry for a Cause to release a limited edition "MTV x Caliber" bracelets made in part from the steel of illegal guns acquired in police-sponsored buyback programs. The proceeds from each sale will help fund future buyback amnesty programs.

"This is such an important message we're sharing," Snoop Lion said in a statement issued by MTV. "It's a movement we want generations to recognize, embrace, and get behind. We've seen a lot of senseless acts of violence involving guns recently -- too many have lost their lives, too many families have been destroyed. Like my friends at MTV, I want to be a part of the change that will help bring peace."

While Snoop has long cemented himself as rap royalty, Big K.R.I.T. is well on his way. Earlier this month, the rapper/producer dropped his latest free project King Remembered in Time. The 17-track ride follows in the tradition of K.R.I.T. Wuz Here, Return of 4Eva and last year's 4eva N a Day with its all-original production. The tape, which serves as an in-between until K.R.I.T. drops his next major-label LP, features contributions from Wiz Khalifa, Future, Trinidad James and Bun B.
