T.I. Joins Travi$ Scott At 2013 mtvU Woodie Awards For 'The Kids'

Tune in Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on MTV and mtvU for our half-hour mtvU Woodies special!

Travi$ Scott may not have an EP out yet, but the member of Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music crew has friends in high places. He hit the stage at the 2013 mtvU Woodie Awards on Thursday with none other than the "King of the South," T.I.

Dressed in green, leafy camouflage gear, Scott took a moment before the show to let "the youth" know he would be performing some new and ill music. He went on to describe the vibe at South by Southwest, where the Woodies took place.

"It's kind of like a central America for like the kids to come like jump around and like have fun and like just don't have to worry about nothing," he said. "They just get to come see Travi$, you know what I'm saying ... and like just get the rage for real. It's about to go down."

After his set, Scott gave himself props on Twitter, saying, "MTV thank you Austin thank you that sh-- was nuts. And all you f---ers that was rockin."

Scott's Owl Pharaoh EP release has been pushed back from its original February 22 date, but while you wait for the new music, tune in Sunday to see him take the stage with T.I. And stop here for the full list of 2013 Woodies winners.
