Justin Bieber hasn't had it very easy the last couple of weeks. Luckily, he's got some bros to back him up.
After wrapping up a [article id="1703312"]controversy-filled stay in England[/article], some of the guys of [article id="1682685"]One Direction[/article] have come to his defense on Twitter.
"I really do empathise with him, I don't see anything out of character," Louis Tomlinson wrote of Bieber's recent spate of troubles over the weekend. "Although I don't know him personally, I do wish the press would take it easy on @justinbieber."
While Louis isn't necessarily besties with the 19-year-old, his groupmate Zayn Malik also tweeted some love for Bieber. "@Louis_Tomlinson what a dude man :D ha got your back bro !! @justinbieber," he wrote on Saturday.
In the wake of all his ups, and mostly downs, this past week, Bieber took to Twitter on Sunday to open up about his troubled time London. After having what he called the "worst birthday" on Friday, he also showed up late to a show at the city's O2 Arena, collapsed onstage at a later show and even got into a [article id="1703282"]scuffle with the paparazzi[/article].
He wrote, "I loved every show I had at the O2 this past week. the UK Beliebers are incredible. i will be back. and i will see u again. and I am grateful for all of u. U are what made some of the other stuff ;) worth it. i love my #beliebers - relax. i always got u. always gonna be there. much love."
Bieber is back on the road (momentarily) for his Believe tour. He was slated to play two shows in Portugal this week, but had to [article id="1703358"]cancel Tuesday's date[/article] due to "unforeseen circumstances."
In addition to his pals in 1D, Bieber also got support from Will Smith. And, whatever the Fresh Prince shared with him seemed to really cheer him up. He wrote, "love to big man Will Smith for the great talk yesterday. We know the truth and we must stand tall. Love u man! thanks!"
