The demand for more information about Beyoncé's upcoming fifth album won't subside until the singer gives her fans an update. On Thursday (March 7), a tracklist leaked on the Internet that's being tied to the anticipated project, but her reps did not confirm to MTV News that it's the real deal.
Idolator shared a photo of the supposed tracklist, which shows a list of songs numbered from 1 to 11 scrawled on a sheet of notebook paper.
According to the image, features include Lady Gaga and Azealia Banks on the long rumored track "Ratchet" in addition to Justin Timberlake — who Bey confirmed is working on the project — appearing on "Roller Coaster" and what would be the singer's first collaboration with Rihanna on "Dance (I'm Soon Over)." Beyoncé's sister Solange Knowles also appears on the list, with a feature on "Better Than Ever Before."
A rep for Beyoncé would not comment to MTV News on whether the tracklist is valid.
During a recent appearance on "RapFix Live," The-Dream, who penned her biggest hit "Singles Ladies," explained how the project was coming together. "There's no particular sound that I think we're shooting for, we're just trying to make music that feels good," he said.
"If you seen the HBO thing, which was great, we had been talking about doing something that showcases who she is and what she wants because we see those figures that are so out of the stratosphere," he continued.
In her March cover story for Vogue, Bey promised that the project would be "sensual" and "empowering," explaining that she created a serene environment in the Hamptons last summer while she worked on the project with the likes of Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. "We had dinners with the producers every day, like a family," she said. "It was like a camp — weekends off. You could go and jump in the pool and ride bikes ... the ocean and grass and sunshine. ... It was really a safe place."
