Host Andy Cohen attempted to get real-life Brit and TV chef Nigella Lawson to weigh in Britney's mock British accent on it, but before she could assess her, Eve jumped in. A rep for Eve had not returned MTV News' request for comment by press time.
While Eve hasn't directly responded to the hoopla over her statement, she did re-tweet this tweet on Thursday, "For the past weeks, blogs have literAlly strived to get @TheRealEve to start beefing by twisting her words. Not working. Lmao."
