Paramore have been through their fair share of battles over the past two years. But in their brand-new video for "Now," making its worldwide premiere Monday during "MTV First: Paramore," it's clear they've managed to conquer every challenge thrown — or fired — their way.
"Now" is the lead single off their upcoming self-titled album, their first release as a trio since Josh and Zac Farro left the band in 2010. In a short teaser, frontwoman Hayley Williams walks with ethereal ease as full-out war rages on around her. Who will win this violent war? You'll have to wait until Monday to find out, when Williams, along with bassist Jeremy Davis and guitarist Taylor York, will debut the full video on MTV at 7:23 p.m. ET.
Shortly after, the Grammy-nominated band will sit down for an interview with MTV News' James Montgomery and answer fan questions on MTV.com. Fans can begin submitting questions immediately via Twitter using the @MTVNews handle and hash-tags #AskParamore and #MTVFirst.
Paramore, the Grammy-nominated band's fourth album, was produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen, who's also worked with Beck, Nine Inch Nails, Tegan and Sara and M83. They'll follow up the April 9 comeback album with a North American tour kicking off on April 25.
"Now" will premiere across MTV's global network of more than 60 channels. Following the online interview, the music video will premiere at 8:00 p.m. ET on mtvU, MTV Hits and MTV.com, as well as the following morning during AMTV.
