'Fast 6' Super Bowl Trailer: Most Furious So Far?

Dominic Toretto and company are back, and they look to be hotter than ever -- driving a car through an exploding airplane.

As if the big game wasn't exciting enough, the "Fast & Furious 6" Super Bowl trailer showcases everything from exploding planes to high-speed tank chases. Clearly, Dominic Toretto and company have upped the ante this time around, which makes sense considering how much money they stole in the last movie.

Taking place directly after the events of "Fast Five," we join our heroes some time after the big $100 million heist in Rio. The "Fast Six" Super Bowl trailer does a great job of teasing not only high-octane excitement, but also the return of someone who's been thought dead since "Fast & Furious": Letty, as played by Michelle Rodriguez.

As "Fast & Furious" fans may recall, Letty was shot by Fenix after he rammed her vehicle causing it to flip over. But although her return was teased at the end of "Fast Five," we still don't have any explanation as to how Letty could have survived such a clearly fatale injury.

Joining Rodriguez in "Fast Six" are the usual list of suspects: Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster and even Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who will be reprising the role of federal agent Luke Hobbs from "Fast Five."

The film revolves around Hobbs, who contacts Dominic with the hopes

that he will assemble his elite team of street racers in order to help

take down a lethal organization of mercenary drivers located in

London.

Dominic agrees to help Hobbs, but only under the condition that he and his compatriots each receive a full pardon for all of their crimes (seems like a pretty fair trade).

The new "Fast & Furious" is said to be bigger and better than its predecessors. After all, in the Super Bowl trailer, a car drives straight through an airplane while it's exploding.

"Fast & Furious 6,"directed by Justin Lin, is scheduled to hit theaters May 24, 2013.
