Paramore To Return To The Road In April

Paramore will kick off their first North American tour in nearly three years on April 25 in Houston.

Paramore are prepping their self-titled comeback album, and on Monday (January 28), they announced the first leg of shows in support of that disc.

The band's first North American tour since 2010 will kick off April 25 in Houston, and sees them criss-crossing the continent with Los Angeles-based act Kitten in tow. According to their label, Fueled By Ramen, more dates will be announced in the coming weeks, but pre-sale tickets for the first dozen shows will be available to members of the Paramore Fan Club and Singles Club beginning Monday at 5 p.m. ET, with the general public getting a crack at them beginning on February 1. For more information, check out the band's official site.

Paramore's self-titled album is due in stores on April 9, but fans have already been given a taste of what they can expect from the record in the form of walloping first single "Now." A video for the song, directed by Daniel Cloud Campos, was shot earlier this month in L.A. and will premiere sometime in mid-February.

The album, produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen, is available for pre-order through Paramore's official site, and comes in a variety of options, including a deluxe box set that includes colored 12" vinyl, a 7" vinyl featuring exclusive b-sides, a hoodie and a photo book detailing the making of the record.
