Shawty Lo's 'All My Babies' Mamas' Officially Canceled

'We have reviewed casting and decided not to move forward with the special,' Oxygen rep tells MTV News on Tuesday.

Shawty Lo says he's "dunn dunn it all," but he'll now have to cross reality show star off of his list of accomplishments now that Oxygen has officially pulled the plug on "All My Babies' Mamas," a piloted special which centers around the rapper, his 11 children and their 10 different mothers.

"As part of our development process, we have reviewed casting and decided not to move forward with the special," a network spokesperson told MTV News in a written statement on Tuesday (January 15). "We will continue to develop compelling content that resonates with our young female viewers and drives the cultural conversation."

The "All My Babies' Mamas" pilot found its way onto the Internet in December and immediately was hit with a barrage of criticism and opposition due to Shawty Lo's unorthodox family structure. There were online petitions and threats of a boycott from the Parents Television Council in the weeks since the premise of the special came to light.

When MTV News caught up with the "Dey Know" rapper he couldn't speak to us about the show specifically, but spoke in depth about his role as a father. "You can hate all you want to, I didn't ask for it. It just happened. Now that it happened, I'm supposed to turn my back against it?" he [article id="1699857"]told[/article] MTV News about his 11 children. "If I wasn't taking care of my kids then you would really dog me out, but I'm taking care of my kids, providing for my family. I don't know what else to say."
