"Jersey Shore" star JWoww wowed the world last September when she announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Roger Mathews. And while she's had a few months to settle into engaged life, Jenni Farley doesn't seem all that prepared for all the responsibility that comes with it.
"Wedding update is hopefully by summer. Soon. My pulse just went up," she joked to MTV News ahead of the season-two premiere of "Snooki & JWoww" on Tuesday, January 8. And for any wedding planners looking for their next gig, they might want to give Roger's best girl a call. It seems she hasn't planned anything for her impending nuptials and a lot of details, including her dress, are very much up in the air.
The "Snooki & JWoww" star added, "No, I haven't really done anything. I'm still trying to look for a location, and me and Roger are still trying to figure out how many people."
Once the details are locked in, there's one person who is very excited to watch her walk down the aisle. Former co-star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is a wedding newbie and is counting down the days until he attends, what he considers, his first-ever wedding. She joked, "Really? I get to be your first. I pop your wedding cherry! I like that!"
He quickly clarified the loophole that lands her as his first. He said, "I've been to one but it was a destination wedding in Cancun and it didn't count because at the end of the day it didn't work out, so it was nullified and therefore you are my first."
"That's awesome," an enthusiastic Jenni added.
Now with every wedding comes gifts and The Sitch knows that he's buying only the best for his friend. "We all know that I love to give gifts. I'm a gift person. I'm looking forward to doing my first wedding gift and for it to be JWoww," he said. "I'll probably look on the registry and then try to top the best present probably. I'm pretty sentimental like that."
"But I'll have separate registry for him and Pauly," she noted.
Over the course of her run on MTV, Snooki's BFF and longtime co-star has grown up a lot, and while she says fans have seen "the good bad and ugly," she notes that she's matured right alongside her viewers.
"We've grown and I think our fans have grown with us, so what we did four or five years ago they can relate to, all the way up to now getting engaged, having babies, going into traumatic experiences and coming out of them," she said. "We're our support system and our fans are our support system."
