Kanye West, Kim Kardashian's Baby Makes Three, And A Busy 2013

MTV News looks ahead at what's store for Kimye as they prep for the arrival of their first baby.

It won't be long before [article id="1699495"]Kanye West and Kim Kardashian[/article] welcome their first born into the world. And with every trimester (Kim's reportedly 12 weeks along) that passes, we expect the media coverage to swell to baby-bump sized proportions.

[article id="1699530"]Kim's already shared that pregnancy[/article] is "definitely an adjustment," so it's going to be interesting to see how she works a baby into her schedule. Given how much ink has already been spilled about the little bundle, we figure that 2013 will be all about Baby Kimye. As we look ahead, MTV News is going to try and nail down the milestones that will mark their baby's first year and where the family will be when they happen.

Baby Bumpin'

While Kimye are hardly staying out of the public eye since announcing the pregnancy, fans now are eagerly awaiting the sighting of Kim's visible baby bump.

When Jessica Simpson announced her [article id="1673485"]first pregnancy with baby Maxwell[/article], she dressed up like a Mummy and posted her curvier figure to Twitter. But Kimye seem like a go-big-or-go-home couple, so they may choose to debut the bump like Beyoncé and Amber Rose did. With the Grammy Awards set to take place next month, and Yeezy up for a handful of awards, Kim might opt to show it off on the red carpet.

The Birth

If our baby estimator is correct, it means that Kimye's child should have a June or July birthday. And, that means that there will be a scramble to follow the parents to the hospital. [article id="1689210"]Sister Kourtney gave birth[/article] to her daughter, Penelope, in L.A. last summer and Kim is a West Coast native so that might be the city they choose. However, Kanye might want the baby to share his roots opting for a Chicago hospital, where there are also significantly fewer paparazzi.

The big question remains: Will cameras follow the couple into the delivery room? Considering the steps that [article id="1676979"]Beyoncé and Jay-Z[/article] took to be as private as possible (which later led to controversy about the price celebs can pay for special attention), this might be the one time Kim decides to shut everyone out. Kanye has always been a media-shy fellow.

The Big (Baby) Reveal

Of course what the world really can't wait to see is the baby. There are several ways that Kimye could reveal the baby. Pals Jay-Z and Beyoncé released the [article id="1679015"]first photo of Blue Ivy[/article] all on their own on his Life + Times website last February, making it a rather personal gesture.

Meanwhile, sister Kourtney has gone the more traditional route, appearing on the cover of Us Weekly last year when she showed off baby Penelope for the first time. In a similar gesture, Jessica Simpson showed off her daughter, Maxwell, on the cover of another celebrity weekly, People last May.

But Kanye may opt for a more high-brow introduction, like when TomKat showed off baby Suri on the cover of Vanity Fair. Or, perhaps, he'll just do some art installation with photos of Baby Kimye projecting on the walls.

Ready for Their Close-Up?

Kanye has already appeared on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," so it's not out of the question that reality TV is in Baby Kimye's future. E! has already teased that something is in the works.

"Kim and Kanye are an incredibly dynamic couple, and their baby news is just so exciting," E! president Suzanne Kolb told The Hollywood Reporter. "Like so many Kardashian fans, we love it when this close-knit family gets even bigger. We look forward to sharing the joy as they prepare for more diapers, more bottle and without a doubt, more fabulous baby wear."

Whether that means that there's a Kanye/Kim spin-off or just more appearances of the family on "Keeping Up" is still up in the air. But, fans might get a glance at the latest chapter of Kimye when "Kourtney & Kim Take Miami" premieres on E! on January 20. Sources say that the show "will continue to cover all aspects of Kim's life as it always has."

Kanye's "Glory"?

Just days after Jay-Z welcomed Blue Ivy into the world, he released his ode to his baby girl, [article id="1676945"]"Glory."[/article] Not only did it lyrically pay tribute to his daughter, but it also featured her cooing on the song. Kanye's never been one to hold back on his music, so it just may be that he might get some "Glory" of his own. And, considering that [article id="1655066"]Kimye have already worked together[/article] in the studio maybe Kim will sing the hook.

"He's a musical genius, so I would be honored to work with Kanye," she told MTV News back in December 2010. "It's all in fun. We're just trying to have a good time." Jam and turn it up!

A Kardashian Kristmas

While Kanye was noticeably absent from the 2012 Kardashian christmas card, this December will mark the first time that Kim, Kanye and baby make three. So, we expect the trio to all appear together on the card.
