It's been a good year for the brothers Jonas. In addition to pursuing some of their own individual interests (Broadway gigs, reality shows and solo projects), they also re-launched the Jonas Brothers with a series of reunion gigs and new music in the works.
So, with the holiday season upon us, they decided to thank their fans for all their support over the last 12 months by donning floppy red Santa hats — well, except for Nick.
While Joe offered up greetings for all holidays, Nick explained why he decided not to join his brothers in wearing the holiday-themed garb, sharing, "And for those of you who are wondering, I'm not wearing a hat 'cause I don't wear Christmas hats. It's just a personal choice."
The band of brothers soon traveled down memory road, highlighting some of their favorite 2012 memories. "We've really enjoyed seeing your faces this year," Nick continued. "We've had a pretty amazing year, thanks to all of you with being able to go back on tour together, play shows again, be in the studio. Kevin with 'Married to Jonas.' Joe with his solo record and all that happened there."
Kevin, however, had one more highlight, "What! What! Nick with 'How To Succeed.'"
"But it was a great year, but most important thing for us is being back together, creating music again for all of you," Nick said, shutting out Kevin, who offered him a celebratory fist pump. "And, we're definitely looking forward to continuing to do that for many, many years to come."
The New Year is really only days away, and if we all should survive the Mayan Apocalypse, that love from the brothers looks like it's going to extend right into 2013. They've already booked dates for a Latin American tour, which kicks off in February and rolls on right through March. Kevin and wife Danielle will return to the small screen for the second season of their reality show, "Married to Jonas," which will debut next spring on E!.
And, most importantly, the guys will have a proper new album ready to roll out. When the guys spoke to MTV News in October about this next project, they explained that they have grown a lot as musicians since Lines, Vines and Trying Times.
"The vibe right now that we're trying to create, we've had kind of a really memorable and a career we're really thankful for up until this time, [and now we're] hoping to create an experience for our fans that is really personal and shows a little bit deeper look into what our lives have been like, as far as lyrics," Nick said. "But, musically we're trying to push ourselves and continue to grow and get better."
