Mac Miller Giving Fans 'Look Into My Life' With MTV2 Reality Show

'Well, all the stuff you can show on TV,' Miller clarifies about what he's revealing on the upcoming six-part series.

While Mac Millermay be Watching Movies with the Sound Off on his next LP, he's hoping fans will turn their televisions up loud when he stars in his own show on MTV2.

The Blue Slide Park MC has begun production on a six-part reality series set to air on MTV2, which will follow him and members of his Most Dope crew as they get settled and adjust to life in Los Angeles.

"Yes, I have a show on MTV2," Miller said in a press release about the show, set to premiere in early 2013. "It's very cool. Being an independent artist, I think it's important to find different ways to bring attention to what you are doing. With Watching Movies coming out, I just want to do whatever I can to make sure everybody hears that."

There's no telling what Mac, Q, Tree Jay and the rest of his crew have in store, but judging from Miller's carefree vibe, fans can expect a good time. "The show is going to be cool, it's a little look into my life... well, all the stuff you can show on TV," he said. "I have been living in my studio for months working on my album, so the show kind of forced me to get out of that room and go do something entertaining."

With this year almost out the door, 2013 is shaping up to be huge for Mac. Not only will he have a new show and a new album, but he is also scheduled to hit the road with Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz on a 15-date European tour.

"I was pleasantly surprised when Wayne's camp reached out to me to be on the tour," Miller told MTV News in a statement about the tour. "Wayne is a legend, and it's dope to be able to go over to Europe with him and Chainz."

Though Wayne has years and a number of platinum plaques on Mac, the youngster has emerged as one of hip-hop's most successful touring acts. This year alone, he hit the road with Wiz Khalifa and Kendrick Lamar in the Under the Influence of Music Tour and his own Macadelic Tour, which came in support of his mixtape of the same name. "The shows are going to be crazy; I'm excited to see that," he said. "I remember going to Wayne shows when I was younger, so to be a part of the show is awesome. I'm also excited just to be on the tour, I'm sure it will be fun."
