'Jersey Shore' Farewell: We're Fist-Pumping With A Weeklong Marathon!

MTV is airing the entire 'Shore' series, leading up to the final episode on Thursday, December 20 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

It's fitting, really: After six seasons of partying, MTV's "Jersey Shore" is going out with the bash to end all bashes: a weeklong marathon of all the drama, fights, breakups and fist-pumps that made the show so great in the first place.

Things kicked off on Thursday, with the penultimate episode of the "Shore," and from there MTV has been playing back the entire series in chronological order ... giving fans one last chance to relive all the magic from Seaside Heights, Miami and Italy. The "Jersey Shore" marathon also includes bonus interviews, special goodbye messages from the cast and never-before-seen footage.

It all leads up to the series finale, which will air on Thursday, December 20 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. And immediately following that fond farewell, MTV will air a live reunion special at 11 p.m. ET/PT, where the entire "Jersey Shore" cast will come together one last time to reflect on the past six seasons of excellence.

"This whole experience of 'Jersey Shore' changed my life and I think America watched me grow up from the time I was 21 to 25 and that's going to be coming to an end," "Shore" star Vinny Guadagnino told MTV News about the show's farewell season. "I'm really trying to look forward and not look back unless I'm reminiscing. ... But we're always going to be a family together, and hopefully we'll be doing different things that people can catch up with us in different ways."

Oh, and speaking of that: if you're still jonesing for your "Jersey" fix, fear not: "Snooki & JWoww" season two is set to premiere on Tuesday, January 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, and the dynamic duo is sure to deliver the goods.

So make sure to tune in to MTV all week long for our special "Shore" marathon. Parting may be sweet sorrow, but as our favorite guidos and guidettes have proven time and time again over the past six seasons, partying is a different matter entirely.
