The drama surrounding the latest Lindsay Lohan debacle continues to swell. Hours after [article id="1698096"]Lohan was arrested in New York City[/article] after police said she punched a woman at Avenue lounge, new details have emerged about why the two women may have gotten into an argument.
According to TMZ sources, Lohan and the other women were fighting over the Wanted's Max George. The source claims George went to the nightclub with Lohan, as well as fellow Wanted members Jay McGuiness and Tom Parker, but reportedly started talking to the other woman.

A spokesperson for the lounge confirmed on Thursday that Lindsay Lohan was there and that they are cooperating with officials in their investigation. Calls placed to Lohan's lawyer and reps for the Wanted by MTV News had not been returned by press time.
Her latest run-in with the law comes hot on the heels of what looked to be a career comeback. Her movie, [article id="1697774"]"Liz & Dick,"[/article] premiered on Lifetime Sunday, and she's slated to make a cameo in [article id="1691805"]"Scary Movie 5"[/article] and will star in [article id="1687465"]"The Canyons"[/article] alongside adult film star, James Deen.
As rumors begin to spread about the nature of Lohan's NYC drama and the crime connected to it (third-degree assault), she is also facing some serious legal heat on the West Coast. TMZ reports that Lohan will face three more counts by the Santa Monica City Attorney in connection with June 2012 car crash: reckless driving, giving false information to a police officer and obstructing or resisting a police officer in the performance of his duty. It took place on the Pacific Coast Highway. She reportedly lied to officers saying she was not the driver of the car.
TMZ further reports that she's likely to be arraigned in California next week. Currently she is still on probation for her 2011 jewelry theft case. She could face jail time if the California judge decides to revoke her probation on the condition that Lohan must obey all laws.
