Which One Direction Fan Knows Them The Best? Take The Quiz!

MTV News put Directioners to the test with these head scratchers.

OK, you know all the lyrics to One Direction's songs, including Take Me Home's tracks, which only came out on Tuesday. You've followed the guys since their beginnings on the U.K.'s "X Factor." You camped out all weekend to watch 1D on the "Today" show. So how do we determine who is the biggest fan of the British boy band?

Leave it to MTV News to quiz fans waiting for 1D to take the stage to test their knowledge. Do you think you've got what it takes to be the biggest One Direction fan in the world? Follow along to see how many questions you can answer!

One Direction won which season of "The X Factor"?

MTV News started off with a boggler. The 1D boys got their start in 2010 when Simon Cowell grouped them together on the U.K.'s reality singing competition, but do you remember which season of the show it was?

"Seven?" "10?" "The Second?" Directioners were a little perplexed when answering, looking to each other before squeezing out their hesitant responses.

"None. They didn't win," one fan rattled off confidently. That's correct! Despite the guys' successful run in the show (it was season seven, by the way), One Direction lost in the final three to Matt Cardle.

Liam and Niall both have the same middle name: what is it?

"James," a group of four said before we even got to finish the question. It's true, and we're sure that these fans would've known that Harry's middle name is Edward, Zayn's is Javadd and Louis' is William. Too easy!

Which Take Me Home tracks do One Direction like the best?

Liam is afraid of... what?

For those of you who don't know the answer to this one, you may be surprised. Here are some hints: a) it's a kitchen item, b) you might sing into it when singing your heart out to "Live While We're Young" and c) it shows your reflection... but upside-down.

Stumped? These fans weren't. "Spoons," they screamed. Ding, ding, ding! Another point for the Directioners!

Which member of One Direction celebrates their birthday in December?

"It's not Harry," a hoodied fan deduced. Harry's birthday is in February. Maybe it's Louis, another fan suggests.

"Louis!" affirmed a group of sign-toting fans. "December 24! Same as me," said a birthday-sharing fan, who held her hand to heart in pride.

Which member came up with the name One Direction?

There was no contest when we asked this question. Eyes opened wide and voices shrieked "Harry!" Correct again! According to the band's website, Harry thought the name would sound good when "X Factor" announcers introduced them on the show.

Which town in Ireland was Niall born?

We decided to make the questions a little harder after all the quick answers. But when asked about Niall's hometown, no one was baffled.

"Mullingar?" a fan asked slowly, questioning her pronunciation. However it's said, she nailed the question.

Finish the lyric: "You can't go to bed without a cup of tea..."

Fans who listened to "Little Things" obsessively after the music video was released November 2 could answer this question easily. But MTV News decided to add a little twist: instead of simply stating the lyric, could they sing it?

"Maybe that's the reason that you talk in your sleep," fans sang in unison, imitating Louis' verse from the track. But they didn't stop there. Fans continued singing, and didn't stop until 1D took the stage.

Seven for seven? We've concluded that the Directioners have passed the test. A+
