If the attendance at One Direction's "Today" show performance on Tuesday (November 13) proves anything, its' that the fellas probably don't have to worry about any sophomore album slumps.
The same day that the guys finally released Take Me Home, some of their biggest fans hit up the Big Apple with the boys themselves to celebrate the highly anticipated album. They broke the "Today" show record with 15,000 fans in attendance to watch the guys perform tracks new and old as well as announce that hitting a theater near you (in 3-D!).
But, that wasn't the only thing that had fans hyped during the taping. The Directioners also couldn't stop gushing about the band's latest album release and the tunes they are currently spinning on repeat.
Sophia can't get "They Don't Know About Us" out of her head. Why? "It just has this amazing tune; it's just amazing," she said. "I love it." Katie pegged her favorite as the bouncy jam, "Heart Attack," praising one guy in particular for his vocals on it. She said, "It's really upbeat and Liam's really hot in it."
Many fans, on the other hand, simply love "Rock Me," using a number of adjectives to describe the upbeat anthem. Jessica said, "It's just a great song." Callan added, "The beat and just them singing, their voices."
On the other end of the spectrum, the group's current single, the Ed Sheeran-penned ballad, "Little Things," definitely has girls swooning hard. "It's so perfect," Gianna raved. Jessica added, "It's not just about the beat, it's about their voices and the lyrics."
Caroline and her pal Emily, however, couldn't nail down one specific favorite, citing every song as a top pick off the album. "I like a lot of them," Caroline said. "All of them, basically," Emily continued.
