Taylor Swift is getting into the Grammy spirit a few months early as she is set to co-host “The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! — Countdown To Music’s Biggest Night” along with longtime host and two-time Grammy winner LL Cool J.
Swift and LL will be the first to announce the nominees live during the fifth annual nominations show. It all goes down on Wednesday, December 5 at 10 p.m. E.T. from Bridgestone Arena in Swift’s homebase of Nashville.
Swift is no stranger to the Grammy Awards, as she has earned herself six awards and has had 12 nominations. In 2010, at the age of 20, the “Begin Again” singer also became the youngest artist to ever win the Grammy for Album of the Year, with Fearless.
The Grammy nominations special also features several performances, including three-time Grammy winners Maroon 5 and just-added country singer/songwriter Luke Bryan. The 55th annual awards show will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 10.
In addition to her new co-hosting duties, Swift just released her highly anticipated fourth album, Red and announced that she will be hitting the road in March of 2013.
Swift is bringing along fellow singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran, whose duet “Everything Has Changed” is featured on Red, on tour with her, which kicks off on March 13 in Omaha, Nebraska and continues through September when she closes it out in Nashville.
“I didn’t think I could be any more excited about my Red album, but then I start thinking about how I’m going to put the new show together for the Red Tour,” Swift said in a statement. “I have so many ideas about how to really bring this music to life, and I can’t wait to share the new show with all my fans!”
