McKinley High is back in session! And while a majority of the "Glee" stars have returned to set, some of the show's recent graduates are enjoying an extended summer break.
Among those students is Harry Shum Jr.'s character, Mike Chang, who, at the end of season three, was accepted into Joffrey Ballet in Chicago. Although the show returned for its fourth season last Thursday, Mike's status is currently TBD (the only news is that he and girlfriend Tina, played by Jenna Ushkowitz, have called it quits), and Shum is keeping tightlipped about his upcoming story line.
"I haven't come in yet," Shum told MTV News. "We'll wait and see how Mike Chang comes back in, but it's going to be an exciting season."
So while a majority of his castmates have already started shooting, what, you might ask, has Shum been doing with his time off? Well, according to his Instagram account, the 30-year-old dancer extraordinaire has been checking off some to-do's from the ol' bucket list.
"This picture came from when I went skydiving," he said about a photo of himself posing in front of an airplane. "I was deathly afraid to fly and jump out of a plane, but, you know, after this, I pretty much feel like I can do anything."
And while most people feel an adrenaline rush after parachuting from more than 3,000 feet above ground, Shum experienced a more Zen-like effect.
"It felt like you just got a massage, which is weird. People are going to be like, 'That is weird,' " Shum laughed. "Right before I jumped out of a plane, I knew what Superman felt like."
