Lindsay Lohan Photos Reflect Glamorous Elizabeth Taylor

Lifetime's promotional pictures show actress with her 'Liz & Dick' onscreen husband Grant Bowler.

We are inching closer and closer to the premiere of Lindsay Lohan's latest work as Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime's TV movie "Liz & Dick," and although the project does not yet have an official premiere date, the network just released a series of new photos to get its viewers amped up for the occasion.

The first of the three uniquely stylized photos shows Lohan-as-Liz in a re-creation of her marriage to Richard Burton (played by "True Blood" and "Ugly Betty" guest actor Grant Bowler). A heavily made-up and manicured Lohan is shown in a warm embrace with Bowler, her jet-black hair pulled back into an extravagant up-do decorated with flowers. The second photo shows Lohan on the set of the 1963 epic "Cleopatra," lounging in what appears to be her palace and surrounded by ornately dressed servants. The third and final new photo is a more somber-themed shot of Lohan in a car being driven away from a pack of photographers. This final photo shows how Lohan was aged-up considerably to look like Taylor in her mid-to-late 30s.

The photos likely mark the beginning of a promotional push for Lifetime, in addition to a very short TV teaser they released late last month. "Liz & Dick" is still expected to debut "this fall," according to the teaser.

The Taylor/Burton relationship biopic has made headlines throughout its production, from the early paparazzi photos of Lohan in her Taylor wardrobe, to the on-set investigations conducted by the labor organizations International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) and the actors' union SAG-AFTRA after multiple reports surfaced of both the cast and crew suffering from exhaustion, chiefly when Lohan was taken to the hospital after being found unconscious in her hotel room.
