And baby makes three for Claire Danes and husband Hugh Dancy. The couple will soon be adding another member to their family as they confirmed to People on Wednesday that they are expecting their first child.
"There's definitely a chance, no plans yet," Danes told the magazine last fall when asked if a baby would be on the way. "But yeah, that'd be fun."
The couple met while filming the movie "Evening" in 2007 and announced their engagement in February 2009. Danes and Dancy tied the knot only a few short months later in a quiet ceremony in France.
Back in 2009, Danes told BlackBook magazine, "While relationships are work, this just didn't feel like it. It's the kind of work that feels energizing rather than enervating. He's such a cutie patootie. Sometimes I forget just how good-looking he is."
Both Danes and Dancy have a busy few months ahead of them. Danes has been filming the second season of her Showtime drama, "Homeland," for which she won a Golden Globe earlier this year. According to People, there has been no official word from the production company, but a spokesman did say that the pregnancy is "not expected to impact the production of season two." The sophomore season of the show premieres on September 30.
Dancy is also moving to the small screen this fall, as he is going to star in the upcoming NBC series "Hannibal." The British actor will take on the character of FBI agent Will Graham, who is on the hunt for a serial killer in the 13-episode series.
The news of their bundle of joy comes on the same day that actor Matthew McConaughey and wife Camila Alves announced they are expecting their third child.
