Matthew McConaughey, Camila Alves Expecting Third Child

Couple tweets out the good news on July 4th, almost a month after getting married.

The celebrations aren't slowing down for Matthew McConaughey and his wife of nearly a month, Camila Alves. On July 4th, the couple of six years announced via Twitter that they are expecting their third child.

Camila tweeted the happy news first, writing, "Happy birthday America, more good news, Matthew and I are expecting our 3rd child, God bless, just keep livin."

Following shortly after McConaughey tweeted a similar message, "Happy birthday America, more good news, Camila and I are expecting our 3rd child, God bless, just keep livin."

The actor and the Brazilian-born model began dating back in 2006 after meeting at a Los Angeles bar and went on to have two children, 2-year-old daughter Vida and son Levi, who turns 4 this week.

The couple got engaged on Christmas Day in 2011 and were married on June 9 in Austin, Texas. Their wedding, which was an intimate three-day affair, took place at their home, and their 120 guests included Reese Witherspoon and Woody Harrelson.

The couple also got their children involved in the wedding, giving them important roles during the ceremony. "Levi brought the rings on a necklace. Vida was the flower girl," McConaughey told NBC's "Today" show. "I don't think she dropped one petal."

The star has a lot to celebrate at the box office as well. He is currently showing off his six-pack in the male stripper flick, "Magic Mike," which has grossed more than $50 million at the box office so far.
