'Twilight' And Movie Awards: The Love Story Continues

'Breaking Dawn - Part 1' nabs both prizes it was nominated for: Movie of the Year and Best Kiss.

UNIVERSAL CITY, California — "The Twilight Saga" might not have [article id="1686419"]won the most awards[/article] at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards, but the fan-favorite series definitely came out on top.

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" took home the two big Golden Popcorns it was up for: [article id="1686425"]Movie of the Year[/article] and [article id="1686402"]Best Kiss[/article]. That marks the fourth year in a row "The Twilight Saga" has won both awards, and its stars said they were flattered by the honor when we caught up with them on the red carpet.

"As we're wrapping up, to have so much love still and you gave us a four-peat, so thank you. That's something that not a lot of people can say," [article id="1686457"]Jackson Rathbone told MTV News[/article] of the franchise's continued Movie Awards dominance.

Even though it was pretty much a guarantee that "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" was going to take home both Golden Popcorns it was nominated for, it turns out that [article id="1686472"]Kristen Stewart was still nervous[/article] about her [article id="1686402"]Best Kiss acceptance speech[/article]. After she quickly smooched herself on the Gibson Amphitheatre stage, she came behind the curtain and, wearing a nervous smile, asked a rep, "How was it? Was it OK?"

We thought it was great! But we get a kick out of the fact that, not long after that, the "Snow White and the Huntsman" star changed from her sexy black heels into a pair of more comfortable Converse. Hey, at least she didn't show up wearing them this time!

It wouldn't be an awards show without us begging the castmembers for a tease of the next movie in the series. And since this is the last Movie Awards where we'll be able to do that, we wanted to make it count. [article id="1686465"]Nikki Reed promised[/article] that fans have at least one awesome battle scene to look forward to in the final "Twilight" film.

"There was a pretty kick-ass battle sequence that I did with two of the other girls that I think should be pretty cool, if they leave it in there," she said. "So I'm looking forward to that, 'cause we trained for it for a while."

And this time, Stewart will get in on the vampire action as well.

"[We did] a little fight training. It was me and Ashley [Greene] and Kristen [Stewart], and we did this like three girls back-to-back thing where we beat up some huge dudes," Reed recalled. "That's always fun."

Jaw-dropping, heart-pounding, gut-busting moments galore. See what went down at the 21st annual MTV Movie Awards!
