It was a good weekend to be Justin Bieber. On Saturday night, the teen star took home a Kids' Choice Award, followed on Sunday night by a Juno Award win when the Canadian music trophies were handed out in Ottawa.
The 18-year-old won the Fan Choice trophy, and in a pre-taped segment he told the room, "As we all know, I have the best fans in the world ... this is for you." He also took to Twitter to thank his fans for voting for him. "WE not me ... won the JUNO!! #ILOVEMYBELIEBERS #THANKYOU."
Bieber's pal Drake also took home one of the coveted Canadian prizes. The rapper won a Juno for Rap Recording of the Year for Take Care. Michael Bublé won the prize for Album of the Year for his holiday LP Christmas, and singer Feist won for Artist of the Year and Adult Alternative Album of the Year for Metals.
Queen of the charts Adele didn't go home empty-handed at the Juno Awards. The British songstress won yet another accolade for 21, International Album of the Year. Madonna's MDNA producer Martin Solveig, along with Dragonette, won for Dance Recording of the Year for their bouncy pop tune "Hello."
In addition to a Juno, Bieber may have also received a makeover over the weekend. The teen star tweeted that after his headline-grabbing sliming at the KCAs, he had to drastically change his hair. "WILL GOT ME. CLASSIC. only 1 bad thing though. slime didnt come out. hair it grows back. anyway ..." But in the early hours of Monday morning (April 2), Bieber hinted that his new 'do might just be another April Fool's prank, posting fake teasers and the hashtag #pranksteronthelooooooose.
Bieber also released a new teaser for his forthcoming "Boyfriend" video. In it, Bieber stands in front of a black backdrop as he goes in and out of shadow. Midway through the 20-second tease, women's hands begin to massage his face, neck and chest.
