VMA House Artist Jessie J Takes MTV Quiz

Singer, who has a broken foot, says she's 'still going to wild out' at Sunday night's Video Music Awards.

Oops! We wouldn't let her do it again.

British singer Jessie J took part in our MTV Video Music Awards mock trivia game, and she messed up the answer to our initial question of what song Britney Spears sang during her debut performance.

She guessed "Oops! ... I Did It Again."

Wrong answer. The right answer, of course, was "Baby ... One More Time."

"Oh! That was obvious!" she exclaimed. "Shall we do it again, and I can get it right?"

Nope, not this time, Jessie!

She also missed our question about how many Video Music Awards nominations Katy Perry has this year, and when asked who the next most-nominated artist was, she guessed: "Lil Wayne? Beyoncé? Adele?"

She was correct with her final guess of a fellow Brit, to which she replied "Boo-yah!"

Jessie redeemed herself when it came time to guess which Madonna song Perry sang when she performed as a member of the VMA house band: "Like a Virgin."

She kind of had to get that last one right, considering she's the house artist for this year's VMAs.

The singer and songwriter — who has co-written Miley Cyrus' "Party in the U.S.A," Chris Brown's "I Need This" and has worked on songs for Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera and Alicia Keys — told MTV News she's a kid living her dream. She also revealed she broke her foot and will be modeling a big boot on it during her performance Sunday night.

"It hasn't really sunk in yet," she said of being the house artist. "I've watched the VMAs every single year, and always wished I could be there. ... So, I'm going to be singing a lot, and people seeing me, and every single person I've ever looked up to in the music industry is going to be in the same room at once. Broken foot or not, I'm still going to wild out and do my thing."

The 28th annual MTV Video Music Awards will air live Sunday from Los Angeles at 9 p.m. ET/PT, following the Selena Gomez-hosted pre-show at 8. See the list of nominees, revisit last year's highlights and vote for Best New Artist by visiting VMA.MTV.com.
