Britney Spears is certainly at a level of fame and success that if she wanted to pull diva antics she easily could. According to the artists accompanying Brit on her Femme Fatale Tour, however, that's not really her thing.
Spears has managed to take some time out of her busy schedule to get her rotating group of opening acts, which has included DJs (Nervo, DJ Pauly D) pop acts (Jessie and the Toy Boys, Joe Jonas) and a pretty big hip-hop star (Nicki Minaj). And MTV News got the inside scoop of what it's like to hang with Brit on the road.
"She reminds me of my best friend, which is really, really weird," Minaj said. "So, whenever I see her, I feel at peace for some strange reason."
Joe Jonas joined the tour for one show in New Jersey last week, a little teaser of his multi-city jaunt with Spears in Europe for the next leg of the tour. The JoBro hadn't seen Britney backstage but his memory of his encounter with her at the 2008 VMAs was still fresh in his mind.
"I haven't had words with her recently, but I'm looking forward to this tour," he said. "When I did meet her, she was a really sweet, really kind person. It's kind of surreal to meet somebody like her. When you meet her you're like, 'Wow that's amazing, she's great.' "
