It's been a difficult year for Cali Swag District, and on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET, CSD will stop by "RapFix Live" with host Sway to discuss it all.
After losing group hypeman [article id="1663922"]M-Bone to a drive-by[/article] shooting on May 15, the remaining three members — C-Smoove, JayAre and Yung — were left to carry on for their fallen comrade. Rather than fall back, the trio have been going harder, releasing their debut, The Kickback, on Tuesday (July 12). The album is anchored by the group's hit single "Teach Me How to Dougie."
Throughout the ordeal, fans have seen a myriad of emotions from Cali Swag District. There was the pain the trio expressed during [article id="1664774"]M-Bone's memorial service[/article]. But in the aftermath, CSD have remained resilient as well, vowing to march on and [article id="1664920"]represent for their fallen partner[/article]. Cali Swag will be taking your questions via Twitter, @MTVRapFix with the hashtag #rapfixlive, so tune in Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET on MTV.com.
We'll also celebrate the 20th anniversary of "Boyz N the Hood," the groundbreaking, John Singleton-directed film that starred Ice Cube, Cuba Gooding Jr., Morris Chestnut and Nia Long.
Newly inked G-Unit rapper Shawty Lo will also swing by "RapFix Live" to discuss his new deal and his relationship with 50 Cent. This past weekend, L-O joined Fif and Tony Yayo in Atlanta to shoot the video for Tony's new single "Haters," and MTV News was on deck too. L-O recently released his [article id="1666504"]B.H.F. mixtape,[/article] so there will be plenty to talk about.
As if all of that wasn't enough, we'll also bring you news updates from Lil Wayne, Pitbull and Wyclef Jean. You won't want to miss this episode of "RapFix Live!"
Tune in to "RapFix Live" Wednesday, July 13, at 4 p.m. ET on MTV.com.
