When [article id="1646237"]Wiz Khalifa declined Drake's offer to go out on tour[/article], the Pittsburgh lyricist lit blogs on fire with his polite refusal, saying he wanted to work on building his own fanbase.

J. Cole, on the other hand, readily accepted a separate offer to tour with Drizzy, though the Roc Nation artist noted the difference between his and Wiz's situation: one invite was domestic, while the other was an international ticket.

"It was a no-brainer in that market," Cole said during his Thursday (February 3) appearance on "RapFix Live."

The "Who Dat" star explained that he had an international tour of his own set up for this past December, which he said would have put him in front of anywhere from 300 to 500 fans a night.

"Which is fantastic to have no album or singles, to do that [nightly] in Europe," Cole said. "Even if I did 10 cities, that's great."

But when word arrived that Drake was interested in having the North Carolina rapper join him for the international leg of his Light Dreams and Nightmares jaunt, Cole jumped at the chance.

"With Wiz to turn down [the offer] in the States, it's very admirable. Man, you really believe in yourself," Cole said. "But it also made sense; he can do that."

Cole said he just came off of his own tour in the States. "But this is Europe," he continued. "I got to touch 60,000 people in Europe in three weeks."

Their joint trek took the two [article id="1652514"]"In the Morning" MCs[/article] from Amsterdam to Paris to Manchester, England.

"It's setting the foundation that's important in a place these days as a long-term artist," he said.
