Lindsay Lohan's next career move may include busting some moves on national TV.
According to Radar Online, the actress is in talks to cut some rugs on ABC's hit ballroom-dance competition show, "Dancing With the Stars."
" 'Dancing With the Stars' producers have had Lindsay on their wish list of castmates for a very long time," an unnamed source told the website.
Although the starlet's offscreen antics have grabbed more headlines lately than her acting chops, Lohan's current approach to treatment has apparently impressed producers, who are ready to take a chance on the actress.
"The producers were concerned about her erratic behavior, but they are taking another look at asking her to come on for the next season because she is doing so well at her sober living facility," the source said. "The producers are aware that she would be available because she isn't going to be filming 'Inferno.' "
As the source pointed out, Lohan will have some time on her hands when she returns to the Hollywood scene. The actress was ousted from the Linda Lovelace biopic last month and replaced by "Watchmen" and "Couples Retreat" star Malin Akerman.
Lohan's mother, Dina, recently said that the "Mean Girls" star has really turned things around in rehab, describing her as a "different person."
"It was life-changing. The Betty Ford Center is just an amazing place," Dina said. "And I spent two weeks there in family sessions and you're not necessarily with the person who's in the facility. You spend time with families of addiction [talking about] the codependency. They're helping the families deal with the problem. ... [She's] happy and relaxed. She's been in a couple of facilities, but this one, to me, has really changed her. ... They bring the problem to the surface."
Lohan's camp did not respond to MTV News' request for comment at press time, while a show rep said "we don't respond to casting rumors."
