We might be raising a glass to [artist id="710231"]Pink[/artist] soon. UsMagazine.com is reporting that the sassy singer is expecting a baby with hubby Cary Hart. A rep for the singer had not responded to MTV News request for comment by press time.
"She's 12 weeks along," a source told the website about the reportedly expecting pop star. "She wanted to do it between tours, when she has some time off."
[article id="1519914"]Pink and Hart married[/article] in January 2006, [article id="1581962"]separated in early 2008[/article], and then got [article id="1609017"]back together in the spring of 2009[/article].
"Pink was determined to make the relationship solid," the source told Us. "Now she's really happy, and she's excited she got pregnant so fast! She'll be a brilliant mother."
Pink, 31, did recently tweet that she had some definite plans for the winter. And that may give some insight into her current state of mind as a maybe mommy-to-be. She wrote on Sunday, "Thinkin about hibernating for winter."
A previous tweet also mentioned her current status as a housewife. She tweeted, "I got so much done today. I feel completely capable of domesticity. how long will this last til' i'm climbing the walls? we shall see."
Whether or not the rumors are true, [article id="1649369"]Pink does have a new album[/article] of greatest hits and some new tracks hitting stores this month. She explained that the album, and its [article id="1649597"]lead single, "Raise Your Glass,"[/article] are dedicated to the underdogs. "I don't know if it's going to be huge, but it is new. I did three new songs. It was good timing. I had been on the road for two years, and I hadn't written anything and I wanted to write a song about underdogs.
"Instead of going and becoming a cover girl and endorsement girl and popular girl and having #1s, I kind of just hit the road and pounded the pavement ... and became a touring artist," she said. "You don't have to be popular when you're a touring artist, you just have to be good, and this is just a celebration and a thank you."
