'Eastbound & Down' Star Danny McBride Marries

Actor married Gia Ruiz over the weekend.

"Eastbound & Down" star Danny McBride has tied the knot. McBride eloped with his girlfriend, Gia Ruiz, a rep for the actor confirms to Life & Style.

The pair married on October 9. Although no further details are known about the couple's big day, the two reportedly met on the set of his HBO show. Ruiz works in the art department. Recently, [article id="1649632"]McBride revealed to MTV News[/article] that he and the show's creators always envisioned "Eastbound & Down" running for just three seasons. Currently the show the couple works on together is in season two.

"We've approached each season ... where, we have no idea if we'll be able to do it again, so we try to make it where it could be self-contained. But if we're allowed to continue, we kind of know where to go," he said. "In our wildest dreams, this was like a three-season show that arced over those three seasons, so we do have an idea of where to go: It's to an Ewok village, next season is 'Return of the Jedi.' There's all this parallel action between a space station and a planet with furry creatures, and I think people will like that. It's different from what we've been doing."

One person who may have been upset not to get an invite to the wedding is [article id="1647329"]"Eastbound & Down" obsessive Marilyn Manson[/article], who has not been shy about his love of the show, which centers around a washed-up former baseball player.

"I get weird e-mails from Marilyn Manson now," McBride laughed. "He sends me weird e-mails in the middle of the night of what he's watching on TV, and you can hear him giggling in the background. One time he literally sent me a 'Peanuts' special I guess he was watching, sometimes it's 'Eastbound,' infomercials, anything."
