Solange Knowles Takes Katy Perry To Task On Twitter

Beyoncé's sister calls 'California Gurls' video 'kiddie porn' and blasts her banned 'Sesame Street' skit.

Solange Knowles isn't exactly a fan of [article id="1641591"]Katy Perry's "California Gurls" Candyland makeover[/article], and she's not afraid to let the world know about it.

In a series of tweets posted Wednesday, Knowles took Perry to task for her jiggly, sugary "Gurls" video after she caught her son [article id="1630916"]Daniel Julez Smith Jr.[/article] watching the clip online.

"Seriously, I [d]on't like the fact dat Julez thinks he gotta sneak [and] watched 'California Gurls' on [You]Tube," Knowles wrote in one message. "Katy Perry is polluting the chirrens.

"It is like kiddie porn tho," she wrote about the "Gurls" video in another message. "All them damn colors, candy and sh-- ... and then Daisy Dukes, breast[s] shooting cream."

Knowles didn't stop there. In another tweet, she addressed [article id="1648495"]Perry's now-infamous "Sesame Street" skit[/article], which was canned after some viewers complained about the singer's slightly revealing outfit (a situation weighed in on by everyone from [article id="1648655"]Perry's fiancé, Russell Brand, to, uh, Elmo[/article] and subsequently parodied by Perry herself on the [article id="1648721"]season premiere of "Saturday Night Live"[/article]).

"And then Elmo and t--s!?" Knowles wrote. "'Dat sound like a personal problem."

In the hours since she went off on Perry, Knowles has yet to address the issue again — she's spent an inordinate amount of time promoting the hashtag #blackgirlines instead — and Perry hasn't responded to the barbs either. A spokesperson for Perry had yet to respond to MTV News' request for comment by press time.
