[article id="1645567"]Many fans have suggested that Fantasia Barrino is in the wrong[/article] for allegedly taking up with a married man. However, the married man in question, Antwaun Cook, says the singer is not responsible for breaking up his relationship.
"He knew Fantasia Barrino but the failure of his marriage can in no way be blamed on anyone except the two people that were a part of the union — Paula and Antwaun," Cook's lawyer, Nicole Sodoma, said in a statement on Wednesday (August 18). Sodoma also says that Cook and his wife have been separated for about a year.
"Paula and Antwaun married in 2005. They expected their marriage to stand the test of time," Sodoma said in the statement. "Unfortunately, like many marriages, it did not turn out as planned. In late summer 2009, after years of discussion, the parties separated with the intention of no longer being married."
