It looks like there won't be a [article id="1641068"]Jen and Heidi show[/article], after all.
Jen Bunney, the current bestie to Heidi Montag (and onetime friend of [url id="http://www.mtv.com/shows/the_hills/season_6/series.jhtml"]"The Hills"[/url] star Lauren Conrad) recently updated her blog and revealed that she and Montag would no longer be co-starring in a reality show together. The proposed TV series would have been a follow-up for the "Hills" alums, whose hit MTV show ended earlier this month.
"Originally I was supposed to do a reality show with Heidi, but right now it looks like some things have changed," Bunney wrote on her site in response to queries from fans. "I don't know if Heidi wants to be involved in reality TV at the moment with everything going on [article id="1640501"]in her personal life[/article] (no we are not in a fight, and no Heidi is not 'dropping' me to do reality shows with the twins)."
Montag, 24, has been separated from her husband, Spencer Pratt, since earlier this summer. It has been reported that Montag was shopping around "The Heidi Show" with Playboy founder Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriends (and former "The Girls Next Door" co-stars), twin sisters Kristina and Karissa Shannon.
But Bunney still wants to move forward with a show and has been going to production meetings in the past few weeks. The show, she claimed, will air in January.
"I was actually surprised that this happened, considering my name is not one that has been plastered across every tabloid the past few years, but I am super excited," Bunney continued. "I suppose the buzz from the original show with Heidi garnered enough interest and publicity and enough about me as an individual that several networks are interested in still pursuing it despite Heidi's absence. So that's the news for now!"
