SAN DIEGO — A Comic-Con attendee stabbed another in the face with a pen at the conference on Saturday (July 24). The dispute was allegedly over the victim's attempt to save a seat for a friend before the Universal Studios panel, which was taking place in the San Diego Convention Center's 6,500-seat Hall H.
First word of the incident reached Twitter around 5 p.m. PDT.
According to entertainment journalist

was stabbed near the eye, was taken away by medics on a stretcher.

The Universal panel, which has reportedly been pushed back an hour from its 4:45 p.m. start time, is slated to include first looks at "Paul" and "Cowboys and Aliens," and also pushed back the Marvel and Kevin Smith panels.
