[artist id="510062"]Lil Wayne[/artist] got his [article id="1633299"]sentencing in New York delayed[/article] couple of times this year. But if he'd seen just one more postponement for his one-year prison term, he and Gucci Mane's work on the "We Be Steady Mobbin' " video probably would have been a bit easier. As it was [article id="1633428"]Wayne turned himself in[/article] just a week before [article id="1607093"]Gucci was freed[/article] from prison. And so the two had to film their parts for the clip, which is scheduled to premiere on MTV Jams this Sunday, separately.
"We shooting my part, but Wayne already shot his part before going to jail," Gucci Mane told Ciara during a phone call in an exclusive clip provided to MTV News by DJ Scoob Doo.
Scoob Doo directed the "We Be Steady Mobbin' " video, and behind-the-scenes footage of the clip will be available on his forthcoming DVD [article id="1642546"]"Entourage: Fetti Holmes Edition."[/article] The project serves as a preview to his and Lil Wayne's collaborative DVD effort "The Nino Brown Story Pt. 3."
"I chose the title of 'Entourage' because this is — in my opinion — the heavy hitters of the game," Scoob told MTV News about the preview project, which will include footage of Lil Wayne, Jadakiss and Drake. "It happens that I have personal relationships with them. It made sense not to sit on the footage, not to sit on the exclusive content. A lot of people are waiting for that 'Nino Brown Story' with Lil Wayne. But this is something you can watch to keep you in suspense and satisfy that hunger."
