Lil Wayne's 'Da Da Da' Video Premieres -- Watch It Now!

Weezy puts on an impromptu rooftop performance in the just-released clip.

Lil Wayne has been on his rock-star steez for sometime now, but in his clip for "Da Da Da," the New Orleans rapper really embraces the lifestyle, as he and ¡Mayday! deliver an impromptu show atop the Marlin Hotel in Miami.

In the video, the Cash Money Records superstar takes a page out of U2's and Limp Bizkit's handbook with a crowd-rousing performance on a rooftop. Weezy rocks out with his band while unsuspecting Miami dwellers below discover the Rebirth star singing and quickly begin gathering on the corner to watch.

Earlier this week, MTV News previewed the clip before Lil Tunechi Weekend, when MTV Jams and MTV2 will play four brand-new videos from Lil Wayne. The "Da Da Da" video was shot back in February during Super Bowl weekend in Miami, when the rapper also shot clips for "Knockout" with Nicki Minaj, "Runnin' " with Shanell and "Get a Life."

David Rousseau directed the video; the Florida-based Rousseau has also helmed clips by Lil Jon and Pitbull, along with Young Money's "Roger That." The Cuban director oversaw all four videos Wayne shot during that weekend, a process that was necessary with the rapper's impending jail sentence.

Rosseau spoke to MTV News at the time. "This is our deadline. This is a hard deadline.," he said of Wayne's prison time hanging over their heads. "It was basically a 'Mission: Impossible' [scenario]: This is your mission if you choose to accept it. Everybody is onboard, because everybody knows what's at stake. Unlike T.I. and some of these other guys that's disappeared while they were in, the point is to keep Wayne [visible] on TV and everything for whatever time he's in. There was a plan in action. Slim and Baby really could foresee that. He's at the height of his career. You can't let that momentum slip."
