‘American Idols Live!’ Tour Dates Announced

The top 10 will play 49 dates in North America beginning on July 1.

We won’t know who the winner of this year’s “American Idol” is for another month, but superfans can start planning their summer around the “American Idols Live!” tour, which will kick off on July 1 with a show in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

The annual trek featuring the show’s top 10 finalists — Didi Benami, Crystal Bowersox, Lee Dewyze, Andrew Garcia, Casey James, Aaron Kelly, Michael Lynche, Siobhan Magnus, Katie Stevens and Tim Urban — is slated to wind up on September 14 at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh.

As usual, the finalists will play a grueling schedule of arena dates that will feature solo spots for each, as well as group numbers reprising some of this season’s most beloved tunes.

Tickets for the 49-date North American outing are slated to go on sale in most markets on May 15.
