Jonas Brothers Kick Off Tour With Demi Lovato On July 27

'We're trying to step up our game,' Nick Jonas says of summer tour that will last through October.

After taking some time for other pursuits like Nick Jonas and the Administration, the TV show “JONAS,” and well, getting married, the [artist id="2088128"]Jonas Brothers[/artist] have announced they’ll hit the road together this summer for a massive tour. Their jaunt with [artist id="3079280"]Demi Lovato[/artist] kicks off on July 27 in Dallas and doesn’t wrap until October 17 in Raleigh, North Carolina.

According to their label, more than 45 shows are planned in North America, with stops also expected in Latin American and Europe. Fans will not only get the chance to hear the guys perform songs off their albums, but with Lovato along for the ride, they will also perform tracks from both “Camp Rock” flicks , the second of which premieres on the Disney Channel on September 3.

“We love recording and creating new music in the studio and enjoy doing television, but performing live music together for our fans is the ultimate — nothing can compare to the energy from the crowd,” Nick Jonas said in a press release. “We can’t wait to get back on the road this summer with Demi and our friends from ‘Camp Rock.’ Together we’re going to bring our fans a show that they’ll never forget.”

Tickets will go on sale beginning May 15, with more information available on TeamJonas.com. And those who live in the New York City area and can’t wait until this summer to see the JoBros and Lovato live can make plans to catch them on May 21 as part of the “Good Morning America” concert series.

MTV News spoke to the guys about the tour earlier this month, when they revealed some details about what they’ll bring to the stage this time around. “It’s a very exciting tour, and it’s unlike anything we’ve ever done before. We cannot wait to get out there again and play shows and to be with our fans,” Nick said. “We’re trying to bring an entertaining show to our fans. We’re working it out now and we’re trying to step up our game.”

And how will they step up their game? “Space shuttles,” Kevin joked. “We called NASA; it’s happening. Just imagine, really? Like a space shuttle onstage. You show up and it’s there and you’re like, ‘He wasn’t kidding.’ ”
