With so much buzz surrounding the [article id="1637694"]final season of "The Hills,"[/article] we almost forgot to mention that there will certainly be more drama unfolding in New York for Whitney Port and all her pals when "The City" returns on Tuesday night. And the show's season premiere is sure to have everyone talking!
"Olivia did come to my fashion show, which was nice," Port told MTV News on Monday (April 26) about her [article id="1621191"]big fashion show last September[/article]. She jokingly added, "I'm not sure why she came, but she came."
But it wasn't so much an Olivia Palermo sighting that got Port nervous, it was the fact that she was living her dream of producing a major fashion show for her line, Whitney Eve. "The fashion show at Bryant Park was awesome. I got to do it with two other designers [Nicholas K and Mara Hoffman], which was awesome," she said. "[It really was] a really great thing, because we can share costs and then all the people that were going to see one ended up having to see the other. So a lot of eyes got to see us, but it was very, very overwhelming. So surreal. It happens so fast, but so much goes into it."
While she is still reeling from the experience all these months later, Port said it was the break she had always dreamed of. "[It was] one of those things that could be once-in-a-lifetime," she said. "I'm not sure I'll ever have that opportunity again, but it was probably the coolest moment professionally of my life."
So how did Port pull it off? With the help of her very own fairy godmother. "Well, Kelly [Cutrone] helped me a lot," she said. "Actually, she produced my whole fashion show ... and that was huge."
