After fans tuned in Tuesday night to see the students of McKinley High strike their best "Vogue" poses on the all-Madonna episode of "Glee," it seems show creator Ryan Murphy is looking to get the Material Girl onboard again for another themed episode.
Murphy's and Madge's camps are currently in talks to secure the rights to use six more songs in an episode that would air early next season, according to Entertainment Weekly. In a statement, Murphy said, "Madonna and her people are into it and want it to happen."
And Madonna has already given Tuesday's show her stamp of approval, saying she "completely appreciated" the glee clubbers' interpretation of her iconic songs, which included "Like a Virgin" and "Vogue."
"The entire cast was amazing," the pop queen said. "They're all so talented. I especially loved Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) and Kurt Hummel's (Chris Colfer) characters. Ryan Murphy did a great job bringing all these elements together. [Daughter] Lola loved the show too. I wish I went to a high school like that. ... If only."
The stars of "Glee" were overjoyed about their first chance to remake the classic pop tunes: "It's a piece of television history," gushed Kevin McHale, who plays wheelchair-bound Artie. "Jane Lynch doing the 'Vogue' video ... it's frame-by-frame perfect to the original. Throughout the entire episode, it's just Madonna all the time — like, there's secret stuff in the background ... It's amazing how they fit all that into one hour. It's kind of exhausting."
