The Situation, DJ Pauly D and the rest of the "Jersey Shore" guys recently wrapped an Interview photo shoot in which they hobnobbed with Leo DiCaprio's lady Bar Refaeli. Not to be outdone, the "Jersey Shore" gals hooked up with New York socialite Tinsley Mortimer and etiquette expert Lizzie Post for a spread in the May issue of Harper's Bazaar.
Going in for a charm-school makeover, Snooki, Sammi and JWoww ditched their flesh-revealing duds in one black-and-white photo for elegant gowns from designers like Marchesa and J. Mendel. Other pics have the women attempting to improve their posture, getting schooled in the art of thank-you notes and doing their best to learn table manners.
On that last subject, JWoww remained unimpressed. "I know a couple things about manners. I just don't use them," she told the magazine. Of her breast implants, she said: "I'd do it every year if I could."
When it comes to her appearance, one thing Snooki does every day is show off her signature poof — that swoop of hair that rises high over her sub-5-foot-tall head and has become an indelible part of pop culture. "It was a teen guidette thing, and when everyone grew out of it, I just kept it," she said. "I'm launching the Snookit," she said of a Bumpit-style accessory that will enable anyone to rock a poof.
Everyone, of course, can't rise to her levels of post-"Shore" fame. "I can't go out without being noticed," she said. "I still go to Dunkin' Donuts ... [but] oh my God, it's hard work."
