What's Next For Sandra Bullock?

Best Actress Oscar winner has several films in development.

"Did I really earn this or did I just wear you all down?" Oscar winner [movieperson id="8456"]Sandra Bullock[/movieperson] joked in her acceptance speech at the Academy Awards on Sunday night where she [article id="1633367"]won Best Actress[/article] for her work as Leigh Anne Tuohy in "The Blind Side." The accolade capped off an awards season that saw Bullock score a number of other honors, including a Critics Choice Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe (not to mention a Razzie).

The Evolution Of: Sandra Bullock

But now, with an Oscar under her belt, it seems like the world, or at least Hollywood, is Bullock's oyster. After finding phenomenal success at the box office in 2009 with both "The Blind Side" and her rom-com with [article id="1633390"]Ryan Reynolds, "The Proposal,"[/article] Bullock has proved that she can open a flick and stretch more than just her comedy muscle.

Bullock isn't ready to rest now that she's proved her critics wrong, including those who awarded the star a Razzie for her work in last year's "All About Steve." She's currently attached to several projects, with more offers certainly coming down the pipeline now that she's racked up all those awards.

The projects include "One of The Guys," which will focus on the story of Bullock's character, a tomboy who throws all-male friends for a loop when she embraces her feminine side, according to Empire Online. Bullock is on board to produce the comedy. Although there is no confirmation on when it will hit theaters (or who will co-star), a 2011 date has been attached to it.

Another film in the works is "Kiss & Tango," which she has been linked to since 2007. No additional cast has been announced, but the film is about an American woman who upon going to Argentina, falls in love with a man and the culture and finds herself in the process, according to The Hollywood Reporter. A 2011 release has been attached to the project, which Bullock will also produce. Bullock is is also set to produce the Christmas flick "Jingle," and is rumored to be starring in "The Sprinkler Queen," set for 2012, in which she would play a talent agent trying to track down her star client.

And although Bullock is having her moment, she is keeping a reasonable amount of her usual charm and humor about the whole thing. "This is a [article id="1633385"]once-in-a-lifetime experience[/article], I know," she said on Sunday. "Everyone who has shown me kindness when it was fashionable, I thank you. To everyone who was mean to me, like when George Clooney threw me in a pool years ago, I'm still holding a grudge!"
