Selena Gomez, who is pals with the Grammy-winning phenomenon, recently dished to MTV News about the backlash that Swift felt from music fans after her [article id="1630891"]duet with Stevie Nicks[/article]. And while the criticism did sting a bit, Gomez explained that Swift can see the good in any situation. "What I admire most about Taylor is that she focuses on all the positive things -- and that's what I love about her," Gomez said. "She won four Grammys. That was amazing."

Swift, who not only just released a music [article id="1632141"]video for her new single "Fearless,"[/article] but also starred in the hit movie [article id="1631917"]"Valentine's Day,"[/article] doesn't dwell on the negative -- she's too busy to care about what criticism people want to lob at her. "That is really what she's passionate about -- [her career and her music]," Gomez explained. "And that's what she loves. She's a very strong person, so that's what she's honoring and that's what I'm proud of her for."

Regardless of what the haters have to say, Taylor is showing [article id="1630944"]no signs of slowing down[/article]. She recently garnered two [article id="1631919"]Kids' Choice Awards nominations,[/article] she's about to kick off a new leg of her Fearless tour and she's already hard at work on a new album.
