Taylor Swift Calls Grammy Wins 'The Dream Come True'

'I never could actually fathom [winning a Grammy] until I was walking up there and winning one,' singer says.

Apparently, the icing on the cake for [artist id="2389485"]Taylor Swift[/artist], after she won four trophies at the 2010 Grammy Awards on Sunday night, was learning that fellow Nashville residents Kings of Leon had won three, including Record of the Year (for "Use Somebody").

Combined with Swift winning the big Album of the Year prize at the end of the night, both awards are going to Nashville.

Told the news after the show, Swift said, "That's awesome, and I didn't know that before right now," according to People.com.

"Nashville is my favorite place in the world," she continued.

"To see it recognized in such a beautiful way tonight at the Grammys just makes me so, so happy." Asked where she might keep her awards, she said, "I imagine I'll have four options."

Swift also appeared at a press conference after the awards, where she spoke briefly while holding her four awards — "I'm going to carry them for as long as they'll let me have them!" she joked to the crowd.

More seriously, she continued, "This is the dream come true. I've never been presumptuous about dreams, and when you have crazy dreams like, 'I wonder what it would be like to win a Grammy some day,' I never could actually fathom that it would happen until I was walking up there and winning one."

She was then cut off by a minder, and said, "I'm sorry, I have to go Australia right now! [But] I'm gonna celebrate [the Grammys] for the rest of my life!"

The 2010 Grammy Awards may be over, but MTV News will have much, much more from the show, including reports on your favorite nominees, party photos, behind-the-scenes video and much more from the big show!
