'Jersey Shore' Star Snooki Is Ready To Report From The Grammys

The reality-TV star is nervous but confident about her debut as MTV News' red-carpet correspondent.

The day after it was announced that "Jersey Shore" would return for a second season, star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was busy gearing up to be MTV News' guest correspondent at the Grammy Awards. When she landed in Los Angeles, Snooki gave MTV News behind-the-scenes access as she prepared to interview some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry on the red carpet Sunday night (January 31).

Snooki hopes the purple Guess by Marciano bandage dress she's chosen will be hot enough to impress everyone from Taylor Swift and Pitbull. "I really like it because it shows my cleavage," she explained. "And I always wear black, so why not do purple? It still makes me look tan, and I'm gonna look bangin', pretty much."

Despite her own fame these days, and a growing number of celebrity "Jersey Shore" fans, Snooki is a bit nervous about adding "entertainment reporter" to her résumé. "Well, I've walked on a couple red carpets, but I've been on the other side, like, posing and talking to people," she said. "I've never really interviewed anybody, so the fact that I'm starting off with celebrities really scares me. But I think I'm going to do a good job."

Like any good correspondent, Snooki is already wondering what she'll ask Lady Gaga, Swift and Usher. And if all else fails, she might just talk about herself. "I'm going to talk to all the celebrities on the red carpet," she shared. "I'm really nervous, because I've never done anything like this before, and I don't know the questions I'm going to ask. Like, do I say, 'What are you wearing?' or do I say, 'Do you like my show?' I'm kinda nervous, but I think I'll do good at it."
