Things are about to get creepy for "Gossip Girl" star Sebastian Stan. The actor, who plays Carter Baizen on the teen soap, is set to star alongside "Twilight" star Ashley Greene in the horror flick "The Apparition," Variety reports.
Stan has been cast as a postgrad who's trying to figure out what to do next with his life. The film, inspired by true events, follows a young couple haunted by a supernatural being that was let loose during a college experiment. Production is set to start February 1 in Berlin before moving to Los Angeles in March. No word yet on when the film will be released.
If you need a fix of Stan and Greene before then, "Gossip Girl" will be back for more drama in March, and "Twilight Saga: Eclipse" comes out in June. We won't know much about Greene's ability to fight evil in "The Apparition" until the flick is released, but the actress recently revealed to MTV News that the fight scenes in "Eclipse" will be epic.
"The first ['Twilight' movie] was very focused on this love story and really sweet and it was beautiful, but it didn't have a lot of stuff that guys would go, 'Yeah, I want to go see that,' " she said. "There's going to be a lot more focus on [action], and the fight scene will have more emphasis on it. I definitely think it will be a little more guy-friendly."
