Chris Brown To Premiere 'Crawl' Video This Week

Singer will also appear on 'Good Morning America' next month.

[artist id="1961441"]Chris Brown[/artist] is set to premiere the video to his ballad "Crawl," the second single from his forthcoming album Graffiti, this Friday during an appearance on "The Wendy Williams Show." It was also announced on Monday (November 9) that Brown is due to appear on BET's "106 & Park" this week, and appear and perform on "Good Morning America" next month.

The Joseph Kahn-directed clip for "Crawl" will feature Bad Boy recording artist Cassie as Brown's love interest. The song's lyrics seem to address Brown's situation with Rihanna.

Kahn spoke with MTV News recently and said the video is "probably the most personal thing [Brown's] ever done."

"I mean, everything that's happened to him in the year, I think this is going to be his big statement, in terms of what he's feeling and what he's living through right now," he said.

"It's my first ballad with Chris, and it was easy," he explained. "Again, it's another idea that he clearly had, in terms of what the genesis of the idea is. I don't even know if Chris is trying to say anything with the video. I think he just sort of, as an artist, I think Chris communicates more through what he does ... and so what he does in the video will speak for itself."

Photos from the video hit the Internet last week.

Graffiti was pushed up to a December 8 release date last week, and the lead single, "I Can Transform Ya," currently rests at #24 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
