It almost seems like [movieperson id="365131"]Robert Pattinson[/movieperson] and [movieperson id="333331"]Megan Fox[/movieperson] were made to win an award created for hot people. So, when the duo graced the stage of the Gibson Theatre on Sunday night at the [article id="1617936"]Teen Choice Awards[/article] to accept their Choice Hottie surfboards, the pair who were once rumored to be dating made the already excited crowd even more frenzied.
The award was presented to the pair by Dane Cook, who began with an off-color joke about Vanessa Hudgens' most recent photo scandal. He later tried to brush it off by noting that the people nominated for the prestigious honor were picked not only because are they easy to look at it, but also because their careers are "on fire."
"Wow. I hope that I get lucky enough in the future to be a part of something that you like as much as you like 'Transformers,' " she told the crowd. "And I love you guys. And I'm gonna shut up now so you can all look at Robert Pattinson."
Pattinson, who helped the [article id="1617942"]"Twilight" crew win 11 awards[/article] on Sunday, took to the mic in his gracious and awkward manner to announce that if the fans think he's hot, the feeling is mutual. "Thanks, guys. I really appreciate it," he said. "I have to say that the hottest hottie, the hottest teens are the 'Twilight' fans. And thank you to Stephenie Meyer and the usuals."
The Teen Choice Awards air Monday (August 10) at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
