Megan Fox Denies Having A 'War Of Words' With Michael Bay

'That's just me and Mike,' she says of her reported feud with 'Transformers' director. 'That's how we talk.'

There's nothing like a good feud, whether it's the Autobots vs. the Decepticons or the "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" director vs. his starlet.

Back in June, just days before the release of what has been the highest-grossing movie of the year, "Transformers" actress Megan Fox told Entertainment Weekly that, despite her best efforts, "Working with Michael Bay is not about an acting experience."

Ouch. Bay hit back in the Wall Street Journal, saying Fox spouts off "some very ridiculous things," "still has a lot of growing up to do" and "nobody in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her."

So what now, Ms. Fox? Is there really a feud going on here? And could this prevent a smooth reunion for "Transformers 3"?

When we asked her about at Comic-Con in San Diego, the actress said we've got it all wrong. "That's just me and Mike," she said. "That's how we talk."

So no feud? "I don't feel like we're in a war of words at all," Fox maintained.

Not only that, but she's certain that what Bay told the Journal isn't far from the truth. "Obviously, what he said is not untrue, about me saying ridiculous things all the time and being 23. That's all accurate."

And, of course, if and when the duo reteam for a third "Transformers" — Bay has said he won't deliver a new flick until 2012 — Fox will be a few years older and, perhaps in Bay's eyes, a few years more mature. Whether their working relationship will change remains to be seen.

"Those are all things that he would say to me and has said to me," Fox said of Bay's Journal comments. "That's actually one of the kindest things he's said about me."
